AFA Dallas Chapter Connects Former CSAF Moseley to Local Cadets

June 27, 2024   |   By Senior Master Sgt. Patrick Nugent, USAF (Ret.)

AFA’s Sam Johnson Chapter in Dallas, Texas, hosted former Air Force Chief of Staff Gen. T. Michael Moseley, USAF (Ret.), for a roundtable Q&A with cadets from the Texas A&M Corps of Cadets, Air Force JROTC, Navy JROTC, Marine JROTC, and the Civil Air Patrol.

Moseley, the Air Force’s 18th Chief of Staff, shared his wealth of knowledge and insights on leadership, military operations, and the evolving nature of warfare. His perspective on the role of military officers and the future of the armed forces was not only an exclusive training opportunity for tomorrow’s military leaders, but a testament to how AFA Chapters can connect senior leaders to a younger generation and inspire them to serve in uniform.

“The candid conversation served as a poignant reminder that my commitment to defending my country extends far beyond the uniform I wear—it’s a lifelong dedication,” said Cadet Aidan Revor.

The event was inspired by the Association’s newest initiative, AFA Advocates to Inspire Military Service (AFA AIMS). To learn more about the initiative and how your chapter can support AFA’s partnership with Air Force Recruiting Services, visit www.AFA.org/AIMS.
