Grant Applications Now Being Accepted

The Aerospace Education Foundation is now accepting applications for its 2005 Educator Grant. The Educator Grant provides up to $250 per academic year in support of elementary and secondary classrooms for aerospace education programs, opportunities, and activities where no support is currently available. The Educator Grant encourages the development of innovative aerospace activities within the prescribed curriculum.

In the past, we have provided funding to offset the cost of field trips, to purchase model rocket kits and purchase computer software. In order for an application to be considered for funding, all parts of the application must be complete. This includes obtaining the signature endorsement of a local Air Force Association representative. To locate this individual in your area, please call us at 1-800-291-8480 or contact us via e-mail at AEFStaff@aef.org.

Applications and guidelines are now available at our web site, www.aef.org. All applications are reviewed by the Scholarship Committee of our Board of Trustees. The deadline for applications is November 15, 2004; winners will be announced no later than January 15, 2005. AEF
